Errors: Auth Required and Expired Credentials
Occasionally, you may need to update your credentials to ensure your earnings continue to sync with Gridwise. If you see these error messages, this indicates that your account has been disconnected and needs to be reconnected.
- Click 'Update Connection' and follow the steps to log into your account again.
Error: Invalid Credentials
You may have entered incorrect credentials or mistyped your information when linking your account.
- Ensure you're entering the credentials for the correct account. Some services have separate driver and passenger accounts, so make sure you're linking the driver account.
- Please manually enter your credentials and avoid using auto-fill. Double check that there are no additional spaces or special characters in your credentials.
- If the above steps don't resolve the issue, please try resetting your service app’s password and reconnecting.
Error: MFA Timeout
Your verification code was not entered before the app timed out.
- Confirm that you have 2-step verification set up with your phone number.
- Verify if your phone number information is accurate in your service app.
- If everything is set up correctly, use one of the backup codes provided by the service app to connect.
Error: Invalid Account Type
You may have entered login credentials for a non-driver account. For example, trying to link your Uber passenger account instead of the driver account.
- Confirm that you're using your Driver app credentials to log in.
- Try using both login types, such as email/password and phone number/password.
- Reset your driver app password and reconnect.
Error: Account Disabled
An account may be disabled or taken offline for a variety of reasons, such as account inactivity. Or your service app may not allow multiple logins.
- Verify that you can log in and take orders in the service app.
- If you can take orders, log out of your service app completely, reset your password, and then try reconnecting to Gridwise.
If you're still unable to link your account after following these troubleshooting steps, please email us at support@gridwise.io with your error message.
Note: As a security precaution, your gig service may report a login attempt from an unknown device. This is normal if it coincides with the time you linked your account.
