Easier editing of time and mileage

are you able to make it easier to go back edit the start time/ending time on a given shift? Currently if I want to edit my start time and keep my end time and it has calculated a total time of 5 hours, as soon as I edit my start time then it also then changes my end time to reflect a total of 5 hours. I can usually get it changed eventually but it takes sometimes 6 or more attempts...very frustrating.
I often want to change either or both times at the end of my shift because sometimes there is “commuting time” that I want to exclude so that my earnings/ hour are much more accurate.
I want the system recording my miles for tax purposes. However, if I have no rides on my commute in to where I typically start working or commute home from where I typically stop working then I want to be able to change my time for a more accurate earnings/ hour calculation. While keeping my mileage recorded.

Why do you want to exclude communities time? If you decide to use mileage as a write off on your taxes you want all miles driven not just what shows up on a 1099.

Your car is working, therefore all miles should be included. Grocery store, gas stations, or simply running errands.

It would be nice if I could add miles in similar fashion as the expenses from previous year so I can go back all the way to my very first ride in 2017 and add expenses. It be nice to be able to do the same with miles as well, this is the issue because I’m getting audited for 2019 and 2020 and they want detailed miles in expenditures. The current system only lets me go back for the past year. I don’t know how to change it to couple years back.
