A useful feature that I think a lot of drivers could use is the option to allow the app to start tracking mileage once the app detects physical activity and not whatever map service they're using is in driving mode along with the option for the driver/user to specify whether a trip was for work or personal trips later

  I thought it did have that feature.. I know if location is on Always it does pop up & ask if u forgot to start your shift. Though it doesn’t do it right away so you lose some mileage.

  What I do is set an alarm or calendar alert for when my scheduled shift starts. So it reminds me as I’m getting in the car to head out.

  it used to .. but doesnt anymore for me for some reason.. i just looked again and cant find a setting for it anywhere! lol. what type of OS are you using if you dont mind me asking? Calender alerts are a great tip! I rarely schedule my shifts tho cause i have inconsistent sleeping patterns 🙃

  I had that issue as well with not starting shift and loosing upwards to 7 miles in a shift. So now I’m making a point to turn o Gridwise before turning on whichever Gig App platform I’ll be using. The time spent online is not as important as mileage for tax purposes.
