Auto Mileage tracker does not track any miles

I see other posts about this. 1) location is set to post "all the time" 2) notifications on 3) battery set to "unoptimized" (app can run whenever it wants) Android 15, samsung s24u. The whole point of this app is automatic mileage tracking. All the other fancy stuff can be useful, but the foundation is the mileage tracking. Without this, app is USELESS.
