How to Use When to Drive

The When to Drive feature in the Insights tab shows you the best times to work based on data from your area and nationwide.

Use these insights to identify the most profitable days and hours, so you can plan your schedule and maximize your earnings.

Explore Key Statistics

Tap When to Drive to see the best times to work. At the bottom of the screen, select the data type you want to explore.

Three key statistics are available:

1. Earnings Per Hour: Median hourly earnings for each day—identify your most profitable days.
2. Trips Per Hour (Plus exclusive): Median trips per hour—find the busiest times.
3. Earnings Per Trip (Plus exclusive): Median earnings per trip—see when trips pay the most.

View Nationwide and Local Data

When to Drive lets you compare local and national trends.

1. Tap the search icon in the top right corner.
2. Enter a city name or select Nationwide to explore broader data.

Filter by Service Type

1. Filter results by the type of work you do:
2. Rideshare
3. Food delivery
4. Grocery
5. Package

Filter by Time of Day (Plus Exclusive)

Gridwise Plus users can filter by Morning, Afternoon, Evening, or Night to see when demand peaks.
