Big events create spikes in demand whether for rides, deliveries, or other on-the-go work. The Events tab in Gridwise helps you see what’s happening in your area, how big each event is and when it ends so you can plan where and when to work.
Access the Events Tab
- Open the Gridwise app.
- Tap the Event (calendar) icon on the bottom navigation bar.
- Browse events in your city or region (next 7 days).
Sort and Filter Events
By default, events appear within a 25 mile radius, sorted by time.
- Tap Sort to order events by Time, Distance, Size, or Most Saved.
- Tap Filters to adjust your search radius or set a minimum event size.
- Review your filters to confirm results match your schedule and target areas.
Save Events
Save events you want to track and they'll appear in your Saved Events tab.
- Find an event you want to track.
- Tap the star icon next to it.
- Open Saved Events to view your saved list.
Set Event Reminders (Plus exclusive)
- After saving an event, tap the bell icon and select Add a reminder.
- Choose a date and time, for example - 30 minutes before the event ends.
Gridwise will send a push notification at your selected time.
Explore Events in Other Areas
- Open the Events tab.
- Tap the Search icon in the top right.
- Enter a city and select it from the suggestions.
- Your Events list updates instantly for that location.
Best Practices to Maximize Earnings
- Check Events daily for new or updated listings.
- Plan around event start and end times for ride and delivery opportunities.
- Look near stadiums, arenas, and entertainment venues for post-event surges.
- Combine event insights with airport data to choose high earning zones.
- Arrive early to secure a good location.
- Monitor traffic and exit routes to avoid congestion.
